Landmark performed asbestos and hazardous materials inventories and managed environmental abatement for the Martin Luther King Library Complex Impact Area redevelopment project. This project encompassed a blighted commercial area with 17 structures, including a high-rise office building. The project involved close coordination with the City of Aurora, developers, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders during development and implementation of design and construction requirements for environmental abatement. The completed redevelopment included improved public and retail spaces anchored with a community library.

  • Accurate identification, characterization, and quantification of asbestos containing material (ACM) and other hazardous materials in structures totaling over 300,000 square feet, resulting in no cost increase.
